Rental Information

The City of Phoenix's Heritage & Science Park offers areas of its facilities for rental purposes. Listed below are some of those areas inside the park and the Special Use Request Fee Schedule. Due to the high demand for rentals it is advised to call or e-mail the Heritage & Science Park Office (602.262.5071) for further information and available rental dates.

Lath House Pavilion, currently being reconstructed, was first built in 1980 and serves as an outdoor community meeting area. Its design has been influenced by combining 19th Century concepts of a botanical conservatory, a gazebo, a beer garden and a pedestrian shopping arcade, all of which were common features of early Phoenix architecture. This contemporary structure was designed by architect Robert Frankenberger. The outdoor pavilion provides the site for many popular special events, such as Matsuri - Japanese Festival and the Aloha Festival. This area is available for rental by individuals and community groups for weddings and banquets Additionally, small indoor meeting rooms are also available.

Additional Information:

• All deposits are due within one week's time of reservation and are made BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Reservations are not confirmed until deposit is received.

• Credit card, check, cash, or money orders are acceptable forms of payment.

• ALL FUNCTIONS must end and clean-up to begin by 11pm. Park closes at midnight. City Ordinance.

• Alcohol Permit is required for serving alcohol: $12.50 fee.

• A Site Staff Fee is charged for supervision of each rental.

• Equipment Available: 300 white chairs, 35 banquet (‘6 length) tables, 35 round       (‘5 diameter) tables.

Garage Parking: With validation & not on a special event day:

0-1 hour=free,

1-2 hours=$1,

2-3 hours=$3,

3-4 hours=$5,

4+ hours=$10. 

• Parking rates are subject to change without notice, including but, not limited to special events parking and Heritage and Science Park garage fees.
